A NEW DAWN
A New Dawn is a 50 page 'Coffee Table' style book with over 100 photographs taken during 2020 and early 2021.
Throughout 2020 I took many photographs on my daily walks in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, always realising how fortunate I was to be able to do this while so many, especially the elderly, were confined and isolated in their homes and Care Homes.
At the beginning of October I created this pictorial book. It is dedicated to the NHS, Carers, those who have lost loved ones due to Covid 19 and those who've been isolated.
I crowdfunded to help finance the cost of publishing. 500 copies are being printed and Care Homes in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire will receive a free copy of the book.
Additionally, proceeds from book sales will be divided between the NHS Hospital charities at Addenbrookes(Act)and the West Suffolk(My Wish) and The Newmarket Day Centre.
Clare Balding has written an enthusiastic and sympathetic Foreword and has shown much empathy for the project.
